Privacy Policy

Moonwhiskers does not require a TreeByte account. Puzzle progress, scores, hint balances, tutorial state, settings, consent state, and the local Ad-Free entitlement are stored on your device. TreeByte does not operate a gameplay account, analytics, cloud-save, or multiplayer server for Moonwhiskers.

The game does not request your contacts, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location. Sharing a constellation uses your device's share sheet, and you decide which app or person receives it.

Players who have not activated Ad-Free may see a Google AdMob banner during play and an interstitial after a round. A rewarded ad is optional and grants one bonus hint after the included local hints are used, subject to the game's per-constellation limit. Ad failures do not block normal play.

Before advertising starts, Google's User Messaging Platform checks which choices are required in your region and shows a consent form when required. Advertising is requested only after Google's SDK says it is permitted. Where Google requires a privacy-options entry point, you can reopen it from the game's Privacy Choices control.

On Apple devices, you may also be asked whether you allow tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Declining that request does not prevent you from playing. Available advertising can be less personalized depending on your consent, Apple settings, and Google's ad-serving rules.

Depending on your consent, device settings, and available ad-serving mode, Google's Mobile Ads and consent SDKs may process:

• IP address and IP-derived approximate location.
• Device or advertising identifiers.
• App and ad interactions, including ad impressions, taps, and rewarded views.
• Advertising data used to deliver and measure ads.
• Crash, diagnostic, and performance information.
• Consent choices and related signals needed to honor those choices.

Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, diagnostics, and fraud prevention under its Privacy Policy. Google also explains how it uses information from apps that use its services and provides an Apple-platform Mobile Ads data disclosure.

Ad-Free is an optional permanent, one-time purchase, not a subscription. While the local entitlement is active, Moonwhiskers does not initialize, request, or show banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads. Ad-Free players receive the same limited bonus-hint opportunity without watching an ad. Use Restore Purchases after a reinstall or on another eligible device to restore the entitlement.

The optional Starlight Hint Pack is a consumable purchase that adds ten hint credits. Consumable hint packs cannot be restored after they have been delivered. App Store or Google Play displays the applicable local price and handles checkout, payment details, and the store account. TreeByte does not receive your full payment-card details or store password.

The game receives product, transaction, receipt, and purchase-status information needed to deliver purchases, avoid granting the same consumable twice, complete transactions, and restore Ad-Free. This purchase state is stored locally; Moonwhiskers does not send receipts to a TreeByte verification server. Apple and Google process store data under their own policies. A refund or revocation may affect access when the store reports the updated status.

Game data remains on your device until you clear the app's data or remove the app. Device backups may retain or restore copies under your device settings. Deleting the app does not delete store transaction, advertising, or consent records controlled by Apple or Google, and it does not issue a refund.

Moonwhiskers is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through a TreeByte game server. Family purchase controls and Apple's or Google's advertising rules apply separately.

If you contact TreeByte Software, we receive the contact details, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your request, not to enroll you in marketing. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. For privacy questions or access, correction, and deletion requests, email contact@treebytesoftware.com.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no device or network is completely secure. Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to address the request or meet applicable obligations. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information to us.

This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. Our general privacy policy separately covers the company website and optional mailing lists.
