Your presentations stay on your computer.
SlideMend analyzes and repairs PowerPoint files locally. It does not upload your slides to TreeByte Software or an AI service.

Presentation access
SlideMend opens the PPTX you choose through Microsoft PowerPoint desktop. It reads slide content, layout, charts, images, tables, and notes to find formatting differences and show previews. It writes the improved file only to a location you choose. Your original file is not overwritten.
Local temporary files
The app creates temporary working copies and slide preview images in the Windows temporary folder. It removes them when you close the deck or app. Windows or PowerPoint may retain their own temporary files under their own policies.
Licensing
SlideMend stores one local flag in your Windows user profile to record whether your free export has been used. It contains no presentation content or filename. Microsoft Store handles purchases and license checks and may cache a Pro license for offline use. Microsoft processes Store account and payment information under its own privacy terms.
Network, analytics, and support
SlideMend has no account sign-in, advertising SDK, telemetry, or online AI API. It does not send presentation text, images, notes, or files to TreeByte. This website's hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and request time. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Please do not send private presentations unless support specifically requests a safe sample and you choose to provide one.
Your controls
You choose which file to open and where to save. You can delete exported files and local app data through Windows. Store purchase records are managed by Microsoft.
