Information we collect
When you choose to submit feedback, we receive:
- The contact email address you enter
- Your feedback message
- The game name and version
- Your operating system and game platform
- The submission time and a random submission reference
- The privacy-notice version and your optional marketing choice
- If you opt in, the marketing consent scope, wording, version, and time
The feedback form does not include your Steam password, payment information, precise location, gameplay history, or Steam account email unless you independently choose that address as your contact email.
Why we use it
We use this information to read and organize player feedback, investigate reported problems, improve our games, and reply when a response would be useful. Submitting product feedback does not enroll you in marketing email. Marketing messages require a separate choice.
Where offered, the marketing checkbox is optional and not preselected. If you choose it, we separately record your TreeByte Software mailing-list signup. The general privacy policy explains those emails, retention, and how to unsubscribe. Deleting a feedback record does not automatically unsubscribe a separate signup.
Storage and retention
Feedback records are stored in a restricted TreeByte Software data store and are automatically scheduled for deletion no later than 12 months after submission. We may remove a record sooner when it is no longer useful or when a valid deletion request applies.
Service providers
We use service providers for website hosting, managed data storage, security, and transactional email notification. They process only the information needed to provide those services and may maintain limited technical logs for reliability and abuse prevention.
Your choices
Sending feedback is optional. You can close the form without submitting anything. You may ask for access, correction, or deletion by emailing us from the submitted address and including the reference shown after submission when available.
Security
Feedback is transmitted over HTTPS. We restrict administrative access, validate and limit submissions, and use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
The feedback feature is not designed to collect information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information can contact us to request its removal.
